Winston Hill, the IBO Asia Pacific super welterweight champion, is prepared to face Australia’s Lachlan O’Shea in the main event tonight at Prince Charles Park in Nadi. Hill weighed in at 68.45 kg, while O’Shea reached 69.8 kg during yesterday’s official weigh-in.

Hill aims for a double victory as his brother, Jonathan Hill, competes against Siliveni Nawai for the Fiji super middleweight title on the undercard. “We are ready to dominate our fights as we have been spending a long time together training in camp,” Hill stated. He expressed excitement for the event, highlighting the significance of the fights and the presence of figureheads like Sonny Bill Williams.

In another bout, Sebastian ‘The Sniper’ Singh expressed confidence in his ability to capture the IBO Asia Pacific cruiserweight title from Australian knockout artist ‘King’ Tonga Tongotongo. Singh, who also holds the World Boxing Foundation Asia Pacific cruiserweight title, weighed in at 89.75 kg, while Tongotongo came in at 87.55 kg. Singh commented on the effort he has put in and emphasized the adrenaline he feels, stating he just wants to get the job done without making specific predictions.

Fiji’s super middleweight title holder, Siliveni Nawai, weighed in at 75.5 kg, while Jonathan Hill came in at 74.8 kg. Nawai, known as the “Hands of Stone,” mentioned that he has prepared adequately for the upcoming fight and is ready to see what Hill has planned for him.
