International Boxing Organisation (IBO) Asia Pacific super welterweight champion Winston Hill is focused on defeating Australia’s Lachlan O’Shea in the main event tonight at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.

During the official weigh-in held yesterday, Hill weighed in at 68.45 kilograms, while O’Shea tipped the scales at 69.8 kilograms. Hill is also looking forward to celebrating a successful night, as his brother, Jonathan Hill, is competing for the Fiji super middleweight title in one of the undercard fights.

“We are ready to dominate our fights as we have spent considerable time training together in camp,” said Hill. “I’m looking forward to fight night. It’s a big card with numerous important titles at stake. Prince Charles Park will come alive with the ring announcer and the presence of Sonny Bill Williams for the evening. Team Hill is here, and it feels special to be fighting alongside my brother as he pursues a national title.”

In another match, Sebastian ‘The Sniper’ Singh expressed confidence in securing the IBO Asia Pacific cruiserweight title against Australia’s formidable knockout artist, ‘King’ Tonga Tongotongo. During the weigh-in, Singh weighed in at 89.75 kilograms, while Tongotongo came in at 87.55 kilograms.

“I’m excited about the hard work we have put in against my opponent,” Singh commented. “We are in good health and filled with adrenaline. I just want to get the job done.” While he refrained from making specific predictions, Singh noted that he believes “whatever happens, happens.”

Additionally, Siliveni Nawai, the holder of the Fiji super middleweight title, weighed in at 75.5 kilograms, while Hill was at 74.8 kilograms. Nawai, known as Hands of Stone, remarked, “I have prepared for this fight and will see what Hill has in store for me.”
