Australian boxer Lachlan O’Shea is preparing to enter the ring against Fiji’s famous boxing star, Winston Hill, in a clash for the IBO Super Welter Asia Pacific title. This eagerly awaited match is scheduled for tomorrow, organized by South Pacific Boxing Promotion in Nadi.

O’Shea shared his enthusiasm for the opportunity to demonstrate his skills in such a stunning location with a vibrant atmosphere. He recognizes the challenge posed by Hill, who has an impressive athletic background.

“I’m ready to put on a great performance against Fijian champion Winston Hill, and I’m really looking forward to it,” O’Shea stated. “I know Hill is a tough competitor with Olympic experience, so I’m taking this fight very seriously. He is a great warrior, and I’ve trained rigorously to be able to last all 10 rounds with him.”

As he aims to put forth an exceptional display, O’Shea highlighted his readiness for the bout, promising to give everything he has during the match. “I’m looking forward to showcasing my skills over the full 10 rounds. On fight night, you will see a lot of my abilities. Normally, I’ve been chasing my opponents, but I won’t need to chase Hill; we will engage in an exciting battle in the ring.”

Additionally, the event will feature three international title fights alongside one local title fight, marking a first for the Pacific region. The international matchups include Winston Hill battling Lachlan O’Shea for the IBO Asia Pacific Super Welterweight title, Sebastian Singh facing Tongotongo for the IBO Asia Pacific Cruiserweight title, and Ubayd Haider competing against China’s Runqi Zhou for the IBO Asia Pacific Featherweight title. In the local segment, Siliveni Nawai will take on Jonathan Pedro Hill for the Fijian Super Middleweight title.
