IBO Asia Pacific super welterweight champion Winston Hill is set to face Australia’s Lachlan O’Shea in the main event at Prince Charles Park in Nadi tonight. During the official weigh-in, Hill measured 68.45 kilograms while O’Shea weighed in at 69.8 kilograms.

Hill is looking forward to a dual celebration as his brother, Jonathan Hill, will be fighting Siliveni Nawai for the Fiji super middleweight title in an undercard match. “We are prepared to dominate our fights as we’ve spent significant time training together in camp,” Hill stated. He expressed enthusiasm for the event, noting it features a thrilling lineup with prestigious titles at stake.

He added, “Prince Charles Park will be electric with the ring announcer and Sonny Bill Williams present for the night. Team Hill is ready, and it’s special for me to fight alongside my brother as he aims for a national title.”

In another bout, Sebastian ‘The Sniper’ Singh expressed confidence in capturing the IBO Asia Pacific cruiserweight title from Australian knockout specialist ‘King’ Tonga Tongotongo. Singh, who also holds the World Boxing Foundation Asia Pacific cruiserweight title, weighed in at 89.75 kilograms compared to Tongotongo’s 87.55 kilograms. “I’m excited about the hard work we’ve put in for this fight,” Singh remarked. “We are in great shape and full of adrenaline. I just want to get the job done.” Although he refrained from making specific predictions, he indicated that he is ready for whatever the fight brings.

Siliveni Nawai, the reigning Fiji super middleweight champion, checked in at 75.5 kilograms, while Jonathan Hill weighed 74.8 kilograms. Nawai, known as “Hands of Stone,” stated, “I have prepared for this fight and will be ready for whatever Hill brings to the ring.”
