The South Pacific Boxing Promotion (SPBP) event taking place today at Prince Charles Park in Nadi is set to be a historic occasion, featuring three international IBO title fights in a single night for Fiji and the surrounding region.
During the official weigh-in held yesterday, promoter Freddy Chand reported that most of the boxers were present and eager for their matches. “All the boxers have made weight today and all the bouts are set for tomorrow,” he stated.
Chand expressed his satisfaction with the large turnout and anticipates a significant crowd for the event today. “From South Pacific Boxing Promotion, everything is going smoothly, and we encourage boxing fans to purchase tickets to avoid any disappointment,” he added.
He confirmed that all bouts are sanctioned and prepared for action. Chand also extended his gratitude to those who attended the weigh-in at Nair Dias yesterday, acknowledging their support for the event. “I want to thank everyone for coming out in good numbers to support the event,” he concluded.
