Authorities are currently investigating two separate cases after the discovery of two bodies in Suva and Navua yesterday.
In the first incident, a man’s body was found floating in the Navua River, near Naitata. Relatives have identified the victim as being in his forties. He had last been seen leaving his home for work on Friday, November 22. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
In a different case, a woman’s body was discovered in a hotel in Suva. She was a hotel guest, and investigators are working diligently to confirm her identity as well as the circumstances that led to her death.
