Tevita Loga, a 56-year-old businessman from Naruwai, Dama, Bua, is witnessing positive developments in his bakery business, known as Three T’s. Operating for just a month, the business has gained significant traction among local residents in the Dama area, indicating a successful launch.

Loga highlights that while they initially aimed to serve their village, they’ve seen a growing demand for baked goods from surrounding communities, particularly due to the distance and limited availability of similar products elsewhere. He notes that around 130 households in the village are benefiting from this venture, making it easier for residents to access baked goods without having to travel over 200 kilometers to find them.

In the past three weeks, Loga has observed a steady increase in sales, with local interest remaining strong. His bakery offers a range of products, including cream buns, cheese buns, pizza, and coconut rolls.

Loga emphasizes the importance of community support, especially for those without employment opportunities. He is committed to providing accessible baked goods to enhance the quality of life for residents in his area.

Despite facing challenges such as delivery issues and traffic complications, Loga remains optimistic about the future of his business. He urges other locals to consider entrepreneurship and remain proactive in seizing opportunities for growth and improvement within their community.

Local authorities have shown interest in small businesses like Loga’s, suggesting that initiatives supporting such ventures could lead to further development and economic enhancement in the region.
