Some male students at a secondary school in Cakaudrove are being investigated for allegedly raping a fellow male student in a school dormitory. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kemueli Baledrokadroka, the Divisional Police Commander for the North, confirmed that an investigation is currently underway. He mentioned that the inquiry is still in its early stages but did not provide additional details.
SSP Baledrokadroka noted that such incidents highlight the negative consequences students may face when they are unsupervised or influenced by certain factors. Acting Commissioner of Police, Juki Fong Chew, has been informed about the situation. The victim and the accused students are all aged between 14 and 17 years.
