Tavua residents are in an advantageous position as a new retail store opens in their town. The town, known for gold mining, is now home to the sixth outlet of Al Hamd Smart Living. This new investment, worth $60,000, offers a plethora of consumer options including LED lights, office furniture, stylish blinds, and state-of-the-art prefabricated container houses from China.

Ashfaaq Khan, the Managing Director, stated that 20 units of the two-bedroom prefab houses have already been sold locally, and he expects more units to be sold in the coming months. The handpicked container houses, built as per Khan’s standards, possess an ISO9001 certification.

Mr. Khan collaborates with local certified engineers to assemble these houses. The market prices for these prefab offices and two-bedroom houses are $12,000 and $14,000 respectively. The grand opening of the Tavua branch saw an enthusiastic crowd, responding positively to the select range of products meant to add style and functionality to their homes or workplaces.

Al Hamd’s other outlets are in Lautoka, Labasa, Suva, Nausori, and Nadi. The company has made significant strides since it onset in 2012.
