A Mega Church for Every Faith: ANCF’s Ambitious Vision

The All Nations Christian Fellowship (ANCF) has announced plans to construct a church designed to accommodate a congregation of 40,000 people. This initiative was shared by ANCF’s general superintendent, Reverend Epeli Ratabacaca, during the church’s Epic Rugby Sevens tournament held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi last Friday.

Rev Ratabacaca mentioned that the tournament served as a fundraiser for the ambitious project. He revealed that the church will be built on a 25-acre site and will be open to all Christian denominations for various events.

“We have been motivated to create this facility for the entire body of Christ, and we are thankful that God has entrusted us with this mission,” he said.

He further emphasized that this church would provide a dedicated space for church conferences, rather than using sports venues, which may not be suitable for worship. Rev Ratabacaca noted that the Methodist Church Conference held at Vodafone Arena in Suva had incurred expenses of nearly half a million dollars for just a week-long event.

“Sports grounds and the Vodafone Arena are not appropriate houses of worship. We’ve observed many Christian annual conferences taking place in such venues, where attendees can be uncomfortable, especially in rainy weather. This new facility will ensure we can worship God in a comfortable environment,” he added.
