Tokasa Nadagalu delivered a powerful message about love overcoming hatred and darkness when she was crowned Miss Vodafone Gold ‘N’ Water 2024 at Garvey Park in Tavua last Saturday night. The 19-year-old, who is sponsored by the vanua o Tavualevu, hails from Tavua Village and was raised by relatives after her father departed and her mother passed away when she was just 14 years old.
During her crowning speech, Nadagalu urged her peers to “Never Give Up” and expressed that her achievement was made possible through her faith in God. She quoted the late Mother Theresa, stating, “Only love can drive out darkness and hatred.”
Nadagalu expressed her gratitude to the main sponsor, Vodafone Fiji, as well as her local sponsor, the Tavualevu community, and supporter Krishna Goundar.
