The investment of $34,600 for the development of Matailobau village in Naitasiri has been allocated by the Minister of iTaukei Affairs, Heritage, and Arts, Ifereimi Vasu, during this week. The Minister expressed gratitude to the community for their dedication and commitment to improving their village, supported by government aid through the Village Improvement Scheme.
The development plan includes building a community center, water supply facilities, and a classroom, along with solar power installations to enhance energy access.
