$34,600 Boost for Matailobau’s Village Development Initiative

The community of Matailobau in Naitasiri will receive a significant financial boost of $34,600 from the government for local development projects. This funding was announced by the Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources, Ifereimi Vasu, who expressed gratitude to community members for their proactive involvement in the development initiatives under the Village Improvement Scheme.

The projects funded by this initiative will include the construction of community halls, water supply systems, and educational facilities, as well as the implementation of solar power solutions to enhance sustainable energy use. Matailobau is one of 30 communities benefitting from this governmental support, which aims to foster development within various villages.
